Graduated with honors in Law from the University of Bologna (1980), admitted to practice before the Supreme Courts since 1982, Gianluigi Serafini is currently an Equity Partner at Grimaldi Alliance.
He has extensive experience as a board member and chairman of numerous companies, including multinational groups, banks, and asset management firms. He has also served as independent director and as member/chair of board committees, leveraging his deep knowledge of compliance processes and ESG issues.
He has also been a member—and in several cases chair—of Boards of Statutory Auditors, as well as of Advisory Committees of investment funds.
Since 2023 he has been Executive Director of the Open Program “Corporate Governance Systems and Practices of Family Businesses” at Bologna Business School (BBS).
In 2020, 2022, and 2024 Forbes ranked him among the top 100 Italian professionals; in 2022 We Wealth listed him among the Top 200 advisors; in 2023 he was featured in the Top 50 Libro d’Oro of excellence in the Capital Market sector.
