Born in Rome on January 30, 1966, he is a Member of the International Taxation Commission of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Rome and Vice President of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), Italian Section. He serves as Chairman and Standing Member of Boards of Statutory Auditors.
He was Director of International Relations at the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency (2013–2022) and Director of International Relations at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Department of Finance (2005–2013).
He also served as the Italian Government representative to the United Nations Committee of Experts on International Cooperation in Tax Matters (Geneva/New York, 2009–2017) and previously held senior positions at the International Tax Office of the Italian Revenue Agency (2001–2004); and as Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax (1995–2001).
He graduated with honors in Economics and Commerce (1990), is a Chartered Accountant (since 1992), and a Certified Auditor (Ministerial Decree 12/04/95).
